Winton D. Nygren, 89, longtime Northbrook resident, passed away July 10, 2016. Beloved husband of 62 years to Lois (Stumo) Nygren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Esther Nygren and his sister Vivian E. Wortman. He is survived by his sons Brad (Cindy), David and Scott (Tori) Nygren, daughter Jelayne (Dave) Calbri; his grandchildren Jason and Stefani Nygren (and their mother Karen), and Layna and Morgan Nygren; brother Wesley (Nancy) Nygren and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 9:30am until time of service 11:30am at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (just south of Lake Ave. on west side). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 8430 W.
