Donald J. Mooney, 82, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. Beloved husband to the late JoAnn, father, grandfather, a favorite uncle and best friend. Loving father of Darrell, Denise (John) Varner, Dale (Eileen), David (the late Sue) and Dan (Lisa); cherished grandfather of Ryan (Kendra) , Jack, Colleen, Patrick, Kaitlin, Bridget, Shannon, Sean, Dylan, Anna, Andrew, Quinn and great grandchildren: Reagan, Sloan, and James.
A funeral visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL 60035. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to Tri-Con Child Care Center, 425 Laurel Ave # B, Highland Park, IL 60035.
