Walter Koza, 82, of Lake Forest, died December 24, 2017 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Walter was born on November 28, 1935 in Blue Island, Illinois to Walter and Estelle (Zelek) Koza. He graduated from Mt. Carmel High School and earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Notre Dame University. Upon completion of his education, he returned to Mt. Carmel as a teacher, counselor, and administrator for 42 years, retiring in 2001.
Walter is survived by his wife of 53 years Adelaide; children Anne Levine, and Michael; grandchildren, David and Daniel Levine.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Friday, December 29 at St. Patrick Church (large church) 950 W. Everett Rd., Lake Forest, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
