Mary Ann Richie, 80, of Mt. Pleasant WI, died August 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Mary Ann was born August 27, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to Harold and Janet Benham. She attended St. Paul Catholic High School in Grosse Point Farms, MI. She continued her education at Michigan State University. She was a long time resident of Lake Forest, Il before moving to Wisconsin.
She is survived by her 2 sons and daughter and their spouses, Robert (Michelle) Richie, Dennis (Shannon) Richie, Charmaine (Scott) Foster; her 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Libby, and Brantley; and 3 great grandchildren.
Mary Ann was a highly devoted mother who adored all her grandchildren. Her love extended far beyond her family to all of her friends, acquaintances and anyone who crossed her path. She enjoyed gardening, lighthouses and nautical seascapes, and spending time with her loved ones. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave, Lake Forest, IL.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 7 at 10:00 am also at Wenban Funeral Home.
