Julie Robson

Julia (Julie) Margaret Robson of Oro Valley, Arizona, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Oro Valley Hospital. Julie was born on September 11, 1939 in Mercedes, Texas to the Reverend Robert and Edna Martin. As a family, including sister Virginia (Norman) Krumholz, they moved to various cities; St. Francisville, LA, Kansas City, MO, Garden City, KS and Grand Ledge, MI. Julie attended Michigan State University for 2 years, where she met her husband of 57 years, Harold (Hal) Robson. In 1960 they moved to Lake Forest, IL where together they raised 4 children.

Julie worked at the Lake Bluff Nursing Home, and as a clerk in Lake Forest at various stores. She was very active at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, serving as a teacher and member of the altar guild. In 2000, Julie and Hal moved to Tucson, AZ.

They are members of St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson. Julie was an active member of the altar guild, assisted as an usher, served at Primavera Meals, participated as a reader and Lay Eucharist Minister.

As a lifetime Christian, she had deep faith and recognized the needs of other people. Julie was loved by many. Julie and Hal enjoyed many happy trips to Mexico and traveling throughout the world.Julie is survived by her husband Hal, children Debra (Bruce) McCririe, Mark (Claire) Robson, Kenneth Robson, Jennifer (Shawn Weirather) Robson, and 5 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E. Westminster Ave in Lake Forest.
