Our most precious daughter, sister, mother and aunt, Katherine White, died on November 25, 2016 from breast cancer at the age of 47. Katherine inspired us all with her courage, her strength and determination, and her sweetness and love of life. She considered herself a very lucky human being, accomplishing her dream of being a mother after 10 years of trying to adopt children internationally and domestically.
She graduated from Colorado College in Colorado Springs in 1991. In 2000 she received her MBA from the University of Michigan and spent most of her career in Marketing, working her last years at Walgreens in Deerfield.
She is survived by her two dear loving children, Sunatai age 7 and Lorelei age 3. She had the constant support and companionship of her amazing parents, Amanda and Tom White, her sister Elisabeth, brother Carey, brother-in-law Marshal Seufert, and sister-in-law Eszter Erdélyi. She has been blessed with devoted nephews Thomas and Alexander and nieces Xia and Yene. She considered her family the most special blessing of her life, and found such great joy in them.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 3 at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 East Westminster Road, Lake Forest, Illinois.
