Mark Eck
Mark Konrad Eck, 63 years, passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Siri (Strupp) Eck, of over 40 years, children Jonathan Eck (Sarah Mason Eck), Kristi Eck, and Peter Eck (Caitlin Brown Eck), three beloved grandchildren, mother Helen (Reisig) Eck, father Theodore R. Eck (Mary J. Wilson), siblings Ralph Eck, Theodore E. Eck and Katherine (Eck) Smith, their spouses and children, and many other cherished family members.
Mark was a dedicated, accomplished and respected sales professional for local Ford dealerships, most recently Napleton Ford in Libertyville, Illinois. He had the gift of connecting with all and making all feel valued. He treasured his service on the St. James Church Council and the years he spent teaching Sunday School. He is remembered for his kind smile, genuine and big heart, his love for all people, animals and nature, and his optimistic and generous outlook on life. His greatest accomplishment and source of pride was his family. He is deeply missed by them and will always be present in their hearts and thoughts.
A service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12th at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church (1380 Waukegan Road Lake Forest, IL 60045). All are invited to attend.
